So Delicious! We got the Belly Buster and the Pepperoni. The pizza base was amazing and the toppings generous. Freshly made and very friendly service. Will be back again!

I am so conflicted... after reading all these reviews, I thought I had finally found my local 'go to' pizza place. I had been there twice this week. My first was the Supreme - there was a lot to like about this pizza... great base, not soggy, plenty of toppings & not oily/greasy - I was excited by one topping in particular - Hot Salami, unfortunately it was MIA - such a shame. I added some chilli flakes a slice & it really lifted it. I decided not review & give them another chance, which I did last night, Friday - this time I wasn't going to miss out - I ordered the Calabrese (As Is) - I omitted the Garlic on my first pizza, as so many places are too heavy handed with.
The Calabrese was polar opposite to the Supreme... base was soggy, it was oily & way too much cheese... and as I anticipated way too much Garlic. When it is listed, I normally omit it when order but thought I would give it a chance. I also had thoughts of removing the herbs ( as is Garlic & Herbs( - which seem to be on most pizzas - I suspect these are dried 'mixed' herbs, which be over powering IMO.
Should I do a 'third time lucky?' with a little bit of effort, I can get a half decent pizza at my usual place but I need to be very specific when ordering, Afterall I want to enjoy my pizza 😋
They are really nice ppl at Merrindale & give great service... the pizza's are on the pricey side (compared to others in the area) - so I do expect them to be great pizzas. I also like that the owner accepts & responds to criticism 👍🏻- The Online ordering should allow you to remove unwanted toppings - like the garlic & herbs and especially PINEAPPLE - it seems to be on a lot their pizzas 😭.

I bought a large Meat Lovers Pizza and it was absolutely delicious. The toppings were extremely generous to the point that the two of us were full after eating half the pizza.
It was not cheap but the freshness, quality of the ingredients and the toppings made it very reasonable.
